OnePlus will be unveiling the new flagship killer “OnePlus 3” Tuesday at a special event. In the meantime, Steve Hemmerstoffer of @onleaks fame has shared two stunning photos of the handset in focus.

Going by the leaked photos, the OnePlus 3 looks like it features a metallic build with antenna lines similar to that of HTC and Apple devices. There is a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button of the device. The corners are not pointed, instead it has smooth curves with the company logo embossed at the back. The device shown in the photos has a silverish gray back panel.

Speaking of OnePlus 3 specifications, past rumors suggested that this device will carry a 5.5-inch display, complemented by 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset will power the handset with a choice of 4GB or 6GB of RAM backing it.

OnePlus will apparently release multiple versions of the handset and the difference between the variants comes in the form of RAM and native storage combinations. While there are 2 RAM choices as mentioned above, the native storage options include 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. On the software front, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS will run the smartphone out of the box.

When it comes to camera configuration, the OnePlus 3 will reportedly sport a 16-megapixel rear-facing snapper, in addition to a generous 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chats.

Battery-wise, a 3,450mAh cell is believed to be part of the device to keep the lights on. Apart from the standard connectivity options, a USB Type-C connector has also been tipped, Phone Arena reported.

Speaking of price, past reports suggested that the OnePlus 3 will set the buyers back by about $305. It is worth noting that OnePlus has put an end to the invitation-only purchase model.
