A shooting rocked the Clackamas Town Center in Oregon Tuesday afternoon, and the gunman is believed to still be on the loose.

At least two people were killed and at least one other person was shot during the incident, according to the Portland Oregonian, and law enforcement officials are racing to the Clackamas Town Center in hopes of finding the shooter.

Reports came into the local emergency dispatch center stating that shots had been fired, possibly near the Clackamas Town Center Macy's, and that a gunman with an AR-15 rifle was spotted near the mall's food court around 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, the Oregonian reported.

The Columbian newspaper reports that an AR-15 is a civilian adaptation of the M-16 rifle, and that witnesses say the gunman was on his own and may have been wearing a white mask and body armor. The Oregonian also reported the possibility that the gunman wore body armor.

The mall has since been locked down and a perimeter has been laid down around the Clackamas Town Center, according to the Columbian.

The Columbian provided the following tweet from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office's Twitter account:

"Shooting at Clackamas Town Center. Multiple police at the scene. If you do not need to be at the mall, please stay away."
