Paul McCartney announced the dates and locations of his European Tour 2009 on Thursday.

This would be the first European Tour since 2004 for McCartney. The tour kicks off on December 2 in Hamburg but includes dates in Berlin, Dublin and Paris. The last concert of the tour will be in London's O2 Arena on December 22.

This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began. Starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between. I'm very much looking forward to ending the year on a high, McCartney said about the tour, according to a statement on his website.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com and will begin selling on October 26th, for the London concert.
