Microsoft's long-awaited Windows 7 arrives tomorrow, Thursday October 22,  and makers of personal computers are gearing for the new operating system launch by announcing their own new products and services.

Here is a breakdown of what several PC makers have prepared for new Windows 7 users:

Dell: The Texas computer maker has said its Latitude laptops, OptiPlex desktops and Precision workstations are ready to ship with Windows 7 as from October 22.

Hewlett-Packard: Thecompany said it has introduced new computers and printers that support Windows 7. HP also said it has helped Microsoft integrate touch technology into Windows 7.Details on HP's Windows 7-related offers will be available at www.hp.com/go/windows7.

Acer: The company's new Aspire 5738DG notebook is designed for gamers and other computer owners who want to view content in 3-D.

Lenovo: The computer maker is introducing new ThinkPad SL410 and SL510 laptops designed to help owners of small and mid-size businesses get the most out of Windows 7.
