The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, were off to their two-week honeymoon on a private jet yesterday.

While the palace would not confirm the destination, according to the British newspapers the couple has gone to the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean and plan to stay in a $6,500-a-night luxury villa.

Out of 115 islands in the Seychelles, the island of Desroches could well be the island chosen by the newlyweds, according to Daily Mail, where the couple had spent a week-long vacation four years ago. The island of Desroches is located about 150 miles south west of the Seychelles’ main island Mahe.

Here are some pictures of the Beach Villas nestled in the midst of the tropical island forest which accommodate up to two adults. Just meters from the palm-fringed white beaches, the Desroches Island website says that these one-bedroom Beach Villas offer the most “idealistic option for couples or singles seeking solitude.”
