When you’re the pope, getting pizza isn’t a problem. In fact, you don't even have to call anyone to order. The pizza just comes to you.

Pizzeria owner Enzo Cacialli handed a specially made pie to the pope when his motorcade drove through Naples, Italy, CNN reported Sunday. The special pie was thin-crust -- the style for which Naples in known -- and completed with yellow cherry tomatoes, a nod to the Vatican flag. Cacialli also spelled out “Il Papa” in dough.

When the popemobile came close to Cacialli, the Don Ernesto restaurant owner screamed, “Papa!” to get the Catholic leader’s attention. Pope Francis leaned down to grab the treat and said “thank you" as Cacialli ran alongside the motorcade.

"It's really hard for me to understand what I managed to do," Cacialli told CNN. "Giving a pizza you made with your own hands to the pope is very emotional. It's really hard for me to express the value of this gesture for a man we really love and value, for a beautiful person full of humanity."

User Wanted in Rome posted video of the pizza delivery to YouTube. Men wearing “Don Ernesto” shirts can be seen eagerly waiting for the pope to come down the street. When the popemobile is in sight, Cacialli jumped over the short barricade and ran up to the vehicle to hand off the pizza.

Pope Francis has said his one main regret about being pontiff is he can’t go to a pizzeria without being recognized. But being the leader of 1.2 billion Catholics comes with it perks. Little more than a week after he made that statement, “Don Ernesto” delivered to him on the go.
