Delhaize Group (DEG) stock surged 4.99 percent to $43.12 in pre-market trading. The company reported the fiscal 2011 operating profit of 935 million euros. Delhaize also reaffirmed its fiscal 2012 full-year underlying operating profit guidance at the bottom-end of the range.

First Solar Inc. (FSLR) stock surged 3.98 percent to $25.10 in pre-market trading. The company stock surged more than 7 percent in regular trading Tuesday as solar stocks rallied after Trina Solar announced that it was going to develop solar power projects in China to boost revenue.
