“Pretty Little Liars” alum Shay Mitchell has just been cast in another Freeform TV show.

According to Deadline, the actress will also be working closely with “Pretty Little Liars” executive producer and writer Marlene King in “Heiresses,” a family soap/mystery series penned by King. “Heiresses” is also based on Sara Shepard’s 2014 novel centered on the Saybrooks family. Shepard was also the author who penned the “Pretty Little Liars” books, which inspired the TV series.

A synopsis for “Heiresses” revealed that the Saybrooks have been blessed with great fortune, but they have also suffered an “epic loss.”

“The events surrounding a deadly accident over a year ago drove a wedge between the once inseparable diamond empire heiresses. But when an unspeakable tragedy brings the cousins back together, they create a truly unbreakable bond. They set to solve the mystery of who wants the Saybrook family dead before one of them is the next target,” the synopsis read.

As of late, Mitchell’s role in “Heiresses” is still being kept under wraps. The release date for the new mystery hasn’t been announced either. But after playing the role of Emily Fields in “Pretty Little Liars” for seven seasons, Mitchell will co-star in the Lifetime series, “You,” according to TV Line.

Meanwhile, if Mitchell will be collaborating with King again in the coming months, her two other “PLL” co-stars will also be doing a similar thing. Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish have just been cast in the spinoff, “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” As of late, the drama has already received a pilot order, and it will be adapted from Shepard’s 2014 novel, “The Perfectionists.”

“Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a need alibi,” the synopsis read.

King released a statement to TV Line expressing her excitement over the pilot order. “I can’t wait to introduce our fans – and Sasha and Janel – to a new world of thrills and chills in Beacon Heights,” she said.
