Rosewood is not the place to keep a secret. Season 5 of “Pretty Little Liars” continues Tuesday, and fans should keep an eye out for some big reveals. Episode 16, titled “Over the Barrel,” will find Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) caught in a whole new web of lies. And unfortunately for them, the secrets that they’re keeping will pay a toll on their relationships with their loved ones.

According to the synopsis for episode 16, Spencer and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will team up again (because they didn’t learn their lesson last week). This time the duo won’t be trying to destroy evidence … they’ll be trying to find evidence. “Pretty Little Liars” fans will remember that Mona’s (Janel Parrisha) laptop got stolen from Aria in the winter premiere. Spencer and Caleb will be trying to retrieve the laptop, however their search could potentially lead them to “cross the ‘Toby approved’ line.”

Elsewhere, Aria will be dealing with her guilt over lying to Ezra (Ian Harding). After failing to get admitted to her safety college, the teen desperately emailed Ezra’s ex-girlfriend, Jackie (Paloma Guzmán), who worked on the admissions board. Her email explained how she regretted wasting her high school years on an older man, and it was just what Jackie wanted to read to bump Aria off the wait list. Aria thought that Ezra would never find out, however secrets have a way of coming out in Rosewood. She’ll work up the courage to tell him in “Over the Barrel,” but will “get diverted by a possible goose chase.”

Hanna, on the other hand, will be put in the most awkward situation of all time – covering up her mother’s late night hookup with Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker). Pastor Ted (Edward Kerr) will resurface in episode 16 with “big news” for Ashley (Laura Leighton), and it’ll be up to Hanna to make sure her mom’s naughty little secret doesn’t come out.

Finally, Emily will continue working with Talia (Miranda Rae Mayo) in the kitchen … but she’s not happy about it. Although Talia may have good intentions, Emily’s crumbling relationship with Paige (Lindsey Shaw) is causing her to self-destruct.

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 5, episode 13 will air on ABC Family on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 8 p.m. EST.
