“Pretty Little Liars” may be jumping forward five years but the main characters still seem to be stuck in the same old drama. Although “A” is now out of the picture, a new promo poster for Season 6B teases that they’ll still be trying to bury secrets.

ABC Family, which is changing its name to Freeform in 2016, released the photo Wednesday. The image features all five main characters -- Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse). But while Alison is in the shot, that doesn’t mean that she’s part of the gang. The group is paired off -- Hanna standing with Emily and Spencer with Aria. Alison is standing by herself and appears to be getting some major side eye from Aria.

And that’s not the only important clue to take note of in the new poster. The girls are standing outside a white car which is stopped in front of a sign for Rosewood. As fans of “Pretty Little Liars” already know, the first half of Season 6 concluded with Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer leaving their hometown for college. However, the time jump at the end revealed that something terrifying will force the liars to return home five years later. Although it’s not clear what kind of trouble they will find themselves in, the dirt leading from the car hints that they’re not done burying secrets -- or unearthing them.

Of course this isn’t the first look at Season 6B for fans. In late November ABC Family aired a “Five Years Forward” special that featured behind-the-scenes footage of the upcoming new episodes. Viewers learned that Aria and Hanna are now in new relationships -- and Hanna is even engaged to her mysterious new beau. But that doesn’t mean Ezra (Ian Harding) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) are completely out of the picture. Both of the characters will still somehow be connected to their exes.

Unfortunately, Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) are no longer together either. Distance tore the two apart, but Toby is still in the Rosewood area. As for Emily? Her love life is up in the air, but that’s not the big plotline surrounding the character. Creator Marlene King revealed that Emily has the “biggest baggage” when she returns to Rosewood.

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 returns on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. EST.
