Prince Charles and Prince Harry’s incredibly close relationship remained unchanged following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s bombshell exit.

In fact, the heir to the throne reportedly didn’t want Prince Harry and Markle to quit especially since their work and causes have been beneficial to the royal family and the British monarchy as a whole.

“Harry is and always has been incredibly close to his father. And nothing that has happened in the last few months has changed that,” a source told The Sun.

The source went on to say that even though it has been hard for Prince Charles to not have his youngest son around, he has been nothing but supportive of what Prince Harry wants. The heir to the throne also continues to support Prince Harry, and the latter hugely respect his dad’s opinion during this difficult time.

Prince Harry and Prince Charles reportedly discussed the Sussex’s plans for the future. Markle’s husband hugely respects Prince Charles’ opinion and he has also welcomed the advice that he has given him.

Last month, a source told the same publication that Prince Charles and Prince William are incandescent with rage over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision because of how they found out about it.

According to Daily Mail, the heir and second in line to the throne found out that the Sussexes were quitting the royal family via television. As such, they couldn’t help but feel stabbed in the back.

“The level of deceit has been staggering and everyone from the top of the royal household to the bottom feels like they have been stabbed in the back. It’s a masterclass in wanting to have your cake and eat it. Even their own staff cautioned against them making this public until they actually sat down and discussed it with the family properly. But they are in this weird bubble and have this strange siege mentality,” the source said.
