The royal palace in Stockholm released pictures of Prince Nicolas, the newest addition to the Swedish royal family, on Monday. His mother, Princess Madeleine, 33, is seen with her children and husband in the newly released pictures.

The mother of two and her husband, British-American businessman Christopher O’Neill, 41, feature in the photos, but it’s the couple’s “little angels” who can be seen taking center stage. In one photo, Madeleine is cradling her newborn son Nicolas, who is bundled up in a pale blue blanket, Hello reported.

Madeleine and O’Neill welcomed their second child just days after her brother, Prince Carl Philip, married Sofia Hellqvist in June. In the first picture released since his birth, the little prince is seen sleeping unaware of the camera, with his parents posing.

The princess looks fresh, dressed in a white summer dress that she has paired with a matching cardigan.

Photographed by Brigitte Grenfeldt of the royal court, Madeline and Chris took turns holding their newborn. Another photograph captures the adorable father-son bonding. The last picture shows 17-month-old Princess Leonore in the arms of her mum.

The little royal is dressed in a pink striped frock and a bow in her hair. The pink color of her dress perfectly matches the pink roses in the background.

Madeleine also shared some of the photos on Facebook. “I’m so thankful to be a mother of two. Both Leonore and her brother Nicolas are little angels!” she wrote. She and her husband moved from New York last year and have been temporarily based in Sweden. The couple along with their two children are currently enjoying a break at Solliden Palace, in the south of Sweden, but plan to move to London in the fall for O’Neill’s job.

The photoshoot was done in the garden of Solliden, the royal family’s official summer residence, sometime in July. The royal couple conveyed their summer greetings to the Swedish people through the pictures.
