Monaco's princess Charlotte Casiraghi has been named as the new face of the Luxury fashion label Gucci.

The 25-year-old daughter of Caroline, Princess of Hanover, Hereditary Princess of Monaco, and the late Stefano Casiraghi, an Italian industrialist, has had a close relationship with the fashion house for some time. She has worn exclusively designed Gucci riding gear in her equestrian competitions in the last two years.

In fact, for her competitions, the creative director for Gucci, Frida Giannini, designs her clothes, which are made only for Charlotte and are never retailed for the general public.

A personal favorite of the luxury label's creative director Frida Giannini, Charlott is regarded as the modern royal whose effortless elegance defies contemporary style by the designer.

Princess Charlotte is regarded as a fashion icon and has received intensive coverage by the media through the years.

At the age of 16, Casiraghi was named number ten on a list of the world's most eligible young women while the Vanity Fair included her name on the International Best Dressed List in 2006. The young princess is often photographed at fashion shows, art exhibits, and equestrian events.

Additionally, following the footsteps of her model mother, Charlotte graced the cover of the French Vogue in September 2011 and has appeared on the front row at a variety of major fashion shows over the last two years.
