When you think of Westeros, your mind might not immediately jump to rap and metal, but "Game of Thrones" is full of surprises. "Catch the Throne: The Mixtape, Volume 2" celebrates "Game of Thrones" Season 5 and features songs by Method Man, Anthrax, Snoop Dogg and Talib Kweli.

It's no surprise that "Game of Thrones" has a few fans in the music industry, which further solidifies the show as a cultural phenomenon. Last year's "Catch the Throne" mixtape featured performances by Common, Big Boi, Wale and Daddy Yankee. Volume 2 adds metal acts performing songs inspired by the HBO series. "Seeing the Mountain on screen, it shouldn't be harps and lutes and that bull----. It should be Anthrax," Scott Ian, the band's lead singer, said, referring to a gargantuan character on the show.

The mixtape starts with Method Man's "The Oath," his tribute to the Night's Watch. The events at and beyond the Wall are the inspiration for several songs. "White Walker" by Mastodon, Mushroomhead's "Among the Crows" and Kap G's "Surrender Now" focus on events at Castle Black. Oberyn Martell became a fan favorite during Season 4, and his quest for justice is the basis of songs by Ty Dolla $ign, Killswitch Engage and Melanie Fiona. Daenerys, Stannis Baratheon and the death of King Joffrey also are mentioned among the 15 tracks.

Snoop Dogg, with his laid-back nature, would seem to be at odds with the Lannisters and their villainous ways, but he praises the family on "Lannister's Anthem," rapping about the dangers faced by anyone who crosses the Lannisters. It's unlikely his song will replace the unofficial Lannister anthem, "The Rains of Castamere." That song was dedictated to Tywin Lannister and details the fall of House Reyne after it rebelled against the Lannisters. While it's not included in the "Catch the Thrones" mixtape, the National performed a version of "The Rains of Castamere" for "Game of Thrones."
