It’s awards season in Hollywood, and that means celebrating the elite of the entertainment world -- or, if you're a fan of the satirical Razzie Awards, it means bashing those who pushed out some of the worst garbage of the past year. Now, just ahead of the coveted Oscar nominations, the 35th Annual Razzie nominations for 2015 have been released.

The best of the worst in 2014: Michael Bay’s fourth installment in the Transformers franchise, titled “Age of Extinction,” up for seven Razzie nominations. The film was recognized for Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actress for Nicola Peltz, Worst Supporting Actor for Kelsey Grammer, Worst Director for Bay, Worst Screen Combo for “any two robots, actors (or robotic actors)” and Worst Screenplay.

While the Razzie Awards give the public a chance to razz some of their least favorite movies of the year, this year the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has added a new category that people might actually want to win. The Razzie Redeemer Award will be given to a celebrity who'd once been shamed by an Oscars spoof, only to have their career bounce back and regain critical acclaim.

Nominated for the first ever Razzie Redeemer are: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Mike Myers, Keanu Reeves and Kristen Stewart. According to the Razzie website, winners are determined through “online votes from 757 G.R.A.F. members in 47 U.S. states and 19 foreign countries.” Meanwhile, the Razzie Redeemer will be chosen based on a vote by users on the movie-reviewing website Rotten Tomatoes.
