Just a few days after Yolanda and David Foster announced their divorce, Yolanda is asking fans for their support and understanding over the separation.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star took to Twitter on Thursday, to ask fans not to judge her and former husband David, Entertainment Tonight reported. She wrote, "We've grown apart but my love & respect for @officialdfoster is still the same. He's been very good 2 me so pls don't judge our journey!"

The former Hollywood couple announced their separation Tuesday, Dec. 1. In a joint statement, Yolanda and David stated that they decided to go their separate ways and that they “wholeheartedly” tried their best to make the relationship work.

“We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together,” they shared. “During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."

The reality actress has been battling Lyme disease for most of her marriage with David. Yolanda’s health struggles, along with David’s busy schedule, was the reason why the two decided to divorce. A source told People magazine, "Things really changed in their relationship as Yolanda got sick, and then when her health worsened. David travels all the time and they simply weren't spending any time together."

An insider also shared with Entertainment Tonight that the music legend’s passion for work also took its toll on the former couple’s marriage. "David is a very busy man, and always put work No. 1,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Yolanda’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars also took to Twitter to convey their support. Eileen Davidson stated that she’s “so sorry” to learn of Yolanda and David’s divorce, while, Adrienne Maloof wrote, “Sending positivity and love to my friend @YolandaHFoster during this difficult time. I am always here for you.”

Yolanda and David were married for four years prior their divorce announcement.
