Shannon Beador extended an olive branch to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" newcomer Meghan King Edmonds following their charity event blow-out in Season 10 episode 4, but was game night enough to mend their rocky relationship? Shannon Beador isn’t holding any grudges in Season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” The 51-year-old attempted to make things right with Meghan King Edmonds in episode 5 following their charity event falling out.

With all the stress in her life from David’s affair and Meghan’s charity function snub in episode 4, Shannon decided to throw a party of her own for the “RHOC” ladies. Rather than get even with the “Real Housewives” rookie, Shannon chose to be the bigger person -- which she made sure to point out several times during the episode. She called each of the cast members to personally invite them to the get-together. Unfortunately Meghan seemed less than willing to forgive and forget. During their conversation, Meghan asked Shannon to prove that she could handle herself. Shannon reluctantly agreed, but later called Meghan back to let her know she wasn’t entirely comfortable with her “terms and conditions.”

Despite the awkward invite, Meghan decided to attend Shannon’s bunco gathering. In fact, she was the first guest to arrive. Although things were still slightly tense between Shannon and her, the party went swimmingly. Meghan, Shannon and the rest of the “RHOC” housewives and their friends got along wonderfully. That is, until Vicki Gunvalson, who has been with the show since Season 1 in 2006, received some unfortunate news. After losing several games of bunco, Vicki decided to duck out and call her daughter Briana quickly. Sadly their conversation was not the lighthearted catch-up she had hoped for.

As we previously reported, during their conversation Vicki learned that her mother had died unexpectedly. She was found unresponsive in her bed by Vicki’s brother, Billy, who had stopped by to check on her. After learning of her mother’s death Vicki dropped to the floor, hysterically crying. After several minutes the rest of the “RHOC” crew realized what was happening and rushed to her side.

Viewers can expect to see more of that in next week’s episode. “The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
