Rather than moving Cristiano Ronaldo to the English Premier League, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez may try to bring the EPL to Ronaldo.

Amid speculation that Ronaldo wants to head back to England thanks to Jose Mourinho’s expected departure to Chelsea, officials at the Bernabeu are reportedly determined to entice Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti with top player Wayne Rooney.

To top it off, Los Blancos are very much in the market for Tottenham breakout player Gareth Bale. The winger has been on the radar of several prominent clubs in recent months after some stellar goals in the 2012-2013 season.

According to The People, Rooney is a huge favorite of Ancelotti’s and Perez is willing to spend £25 million for the Manchester United striker.

The Red Devils are undergoing a changing of the guard with Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement and the entrance of David Moyes as manager. That has put Rooney’s future at Old Trafford in doubt, though the 27-year-old reportedly wants to remain with United.

Ancelotti led PSG to their first league title in 14 years this season and has managed other elite clubs, such as Juventus, AC Milan and Chelsea. Ronaldo may feel more comfortable at Real Madrid with Ancelotti as his manager, and his former United teammate Rooney by his side.

In terms of Bale, the 24-year-old Welshman who totaled 30 goals in all competitions for Spurs this season is reportedly willing to listen to overtures from the Bernabeu.

While the move for Rooney is believed to be for the purposes of landing Ancelotti, Bale is the club’s absolute priority this summer, according to the Daily Mail. Quoting Spanish TV program Futboleros, the Mail reported that Bale’s agent said his client would have to listen to an offer from the Spanish giants. That offer could be as much as £65 million.

Los Blancos clearly have offense on their mind after falling well behind to La Liga champions Barcelona. The club is also in the high-price bidding for Napoli’s Edison Cavani, as reported by The Sun.

Chelsea have reportedly dropped out of the Cavani sweepstakes, and that has left Madrid and Manchester City as the final bidders for a transfer and contract that could go as high as five years, and £100 million.

Cavani has scored a minimum of 24 goals in Serie A play over the last three seasons, including a career-best 29 this year that has catapulted Napoli into Champions League qualification.

As reported by the Mail, Liverpool’s Luis Suarez may also be another transfer target for Perez. His 23 goals at Anfield were marred by a nasty 10-match suspension when the Uruguayan bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

That incident hasn’t truly affected the 26-year-old’s market value, as many clubs like Champions League title holders Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus are interested. All will have to hand over as much as £31.5 million for Suarez.
