Ryan Knight, the star of MTV’s “The Real World” was found dead by a friend on Thanksgiving Day morning, media reports said late Thursday. The 29-year-old reality TV star allegedly “chocked on his own vomit,” TMZ reported.

Knight was reportedly partying with friends on Wednesday night and had taken “some pills,” reports said, and after the party, Knight spent the night at another friend’s house. The nature of the pills and the cause of his death have not been revealed. Knight’s friends told TMZ that Ryan had told them during the party that he was extremely happy as he was dating someone new. The news of Knight’s death comes two weeks after his “The Challenge” co-star Diem Brown died, aged 32, after battling cancer.

Knight was part of “The Real World New Orleans” in 2010, and later appeared on the spin-off series “The Challenge.”

“Words will never be enough to justify the connection we shared and the pain I will forever feel,” Jemmye Carroll, Knight's on-again off-again girlfriend, wrote on her Twitter account.

Several of Knight’s friends and co-stars took to Twitter to remember him.
