After the list of trophies for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" was released, many fans were intrigued by the newly announced "Realistic" difficulty level. The series has always had a solid difficulty curve, depending on the mode the player chooses, but the newly announced realistic mode had intrigued players since it’s a new mode for the series.

The "Call of Duty" series has always been an interesting mix of shooting and strategy, although shooting was always the more dominant factor. However, it seems like the new realistic difficulty of "Black Ops 3" will actually favor strategy, as players will only have one point of life.

Xbox Achievements confirmed that this was intentionally done so that players would work with their teammates during the campaign mode. Players will actually have to take cover and wait for enemy fire to stop, before deciding how to take out the large number of enemies that are trying to kill them.

While interesting, it is a bit odd that one shot immediately kills the player. Granted, a headshot should kill any person right away, but if the player is shot in the leg it will also lead to an immediate death. The mode being called "realistic," might not be accurate, but it does add a layer of strategy to the game.

Developer Treyarch also discusses the game’s campaign mode, which will unfortunately be absent from last-gen versions of the game. According to VG24/7, all of the game’s chapters can be played at any order. This is could be considered an oddity, but its also possible that each mission is self contained.

Zombies will also be returning to "Black Ops 3," along with special celebrity voices to add some charm to the mode. Jeff Goldblum, Ron Pearlman, Heather Graham and more lend their voices to the biggest map seen in a "Call of Duty" zombie mode.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is coming out on Nov. 6 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Whether the game lives up to the reputation of previous "Call of Duty" games remains to be seen.
