Is Remy Ma ready to clap back at Nicki Minaj? It appears that the “shETHER” rapper is preparing something big in retaliation against her nemesis. She could be after Minaj’s money after the latter challenged her to release a new diss track within 72 hours and book any show without mentioning Queen Barbz’s name.

On Saturday, Remy Ma updated her Instagram account with a photo of her styling her hair in front of a mirror. She is joined by her assistant and makeup artist in the snap. As per usual, Papoose’s wife can be seen sporting a fierce look and a serious expression on her face. While she did not reveal what she was preparing for in the pic, she did hint at grabbing the chance to earn big cash in her caption. “Gotta get that bread, that dough, that cake; I ain’t on a low-carb diet I get all my carbohydrates,” she wrote.

It isn’t clear if the 36-year-old female rapper was giving a clue that she’s done with her diss track and that she’s booked a show, but her fans gave her words of encouragement on the photo-sharing site. One fan wrote: “Remy, you the best. Don’t let no one tell you different baby [sic]. We love you and we ride for you.” Another commented: “You should have Lil Kim on a record that will shut her [Minaj] up.”

On Friday, Minaj challenged Remy Ma after dropping three new tracks. Two of the songs — “No Frauds” and “Changed It”— are her responses to the latter’s “shETHER” and “Another One” diss tracks. Minaj wrote on Instagram: “U got 72 hours to drop a hit and I’ll give u half a million dollars if u can book ANY show or interview w/o mentioning the Queen name.”

In response to the backlash she got for not releasing her music against Remy Ma immediately, Minaj stated, “Here @Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS. Queens don’t move on peasant time.”

Following the success of Minaj’s tracks on different charts and right after she posted her challenge to Remy Ma, the latter uploaded a selfie on Instagram and asked the “Anaconda” hitmaker: “Are you dumb?”

Minaj didn’t replied to this, but she did thank her fellow artists Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Jhené Aiko and Tinashe for their support amid her ongoing rift with Remy Ma.
