Renren Inc investors shouldn't have to wait too long for one of China's largest social networks to post a profit, Chief Executive Officer Joseph Chen said on Wednesday.

Reporting a profit will be definitely very soon, Chen told Reuters Insider on a day the shares surged nearly 50 percent in their stock market debut on the New York Stock Exchange.
