Jerry (Chris Parnell) and Rick (Justin Roiland) will spend time together in the next episode of “Rick and Morty” Season 3.

Adult Swim’s “Rick and Morty” Season 3, episode 5, will feature Rick and Jerry’s adventure. In this promo, Rick is seen in a hurry while waking up Jerry, who is still half-awake. “Oh Jerry, Jerry come on. You’re gonna come with me Jerry, it’s important Jerry, the fate of the galaxy rest on your shoulders. Let’s go put some pants on,” Rick says.

Rick drags the naked Jerry out of bed. “Never mind, there’s no time for pants here. I’ll make you a pair of pants on the way. It’s a Rick and Jerry adventure! Rick and Jerry episode.”

In this clip, many initially thought that Rick and Jerry’s adventure is for episode 6, “Rest and Ricklaxation.” However, it turns out that it is for episode 5, “The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy.” The description for the next episode reads, “Beth fails as a mother; Summer has body issues,” which Heavy finds inappropriate for the duo. Nevertheless, it is sure that “Rick and Morty” Season 3, episode 5, will be about Rick and Jerry’s adventure.

In another teaser, the two arrive together in one place. Jerry finds the place fancy. “Jerry for all you know this is an equivalent of an alien truck stop, you have no frame of reference. You are at a universe behind your imagining, but yes, it is super fancy,” Rick says.

From the Season 3 trailer, the two will have an extreme ride. However, while Rick seems to be enjoying, Jerry appears terrified. Also, it is noticeable that there is a patch or stain on Rick’s shirt that looks like he has been shot. However, he is completely alive and okay.

Meanwhile, it’s also possible that Rick is enjoying because Jerry is not. The two do not have a perfect father-in-law and son-in-law relationship. In fact, they share a toxic and hateful relationship. Rick always takes every chance to put Jerry down emotionally and sometimes, physically. He even goes to lengths to mutilate his body and send him to a daycare full of Jerrys from different dimensions. They hate each other and things get worse now that Jerry and Beth (Sarah Chalke) are divorcing.

However, there is also a possibility that the Rick Jerry is spending time with is not his father-in-law. Another scene shows Rick wearing the same stained shirt with a robotic arm and laser eyes.
