The Rick Ross Rich Forever mixtape 2012 is now available for download and the reviews coming in for the rapper are good.

Writes Spin: (Ross) is usually monolithic production (courtesy old sparring partner Lex Luger, Boi-1da and Mike Will among others) is still oppressively huge even when compressed into a zip file; and his boasts are still as petty as ever (My teacher told me that I was a piece of sh**/Seen her the other day, driving a piece of shit). Plus what would be a Ross album without literally every hot rapper of the moment: This time he's got 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, French Montana, Stalley, Future and Drake. His pal Wale, of course, appears courtesy of 2007. Cop this thing now and get your chest caved in.

Wrote one reviewer on YouTube: This mixtape could've easily been a album!!? Ugh!!

Featuring guests including Drake, Nas, Pharell and Maybach Music Group's Wale and Meek Mill, the mixtape has become a hot Internet property in the past day. Ross, who survived a medical scare in October delaying the release of his new album God Forgives I Don't, got his stage name from drug trafficker Freeway Rick Ross.

He founded the Maybach Music Group label, releasing albums Deeper Than Rap and Teflon Don.

There's still no firm date on the release of God Forgives I Don't, previously scheduled for a Dec. 13 release before the health scare -- but the Rich Forever mixtape download is meant to satisfy fans in the meantime.

A video uploaded on YouTube says about the mixtape: THE UNTOUCHABLE MAYBACH EMPIRE PRESENTS AN IN DEPTH LOOK AT THE MOST ANTICIPATED MIXTAPE OF 2012 @RICKYROZAY #RICHFOREVER. INCLUDES INTERVIEW WITH HIP-HOP HISTORIAN, MTV2 AND XXL EDITOR-AT-LARGE SHAHEEM REID, #RICHFOREVER STUDIO SESSION WITH FIRST PREVIEW OF INTRO TRACK 'HOLY GHOST' PLUS MORE.
