Rihanna and Chris Brown are planning to reunite at the 2012 VMA Awards, according to reports.

When one of Rihanna's friends was asked if the "Rude Boy" singer would agree to a performance, the source told Perez Hilton, "That's obvious. Hell yeah, she would. [There isn't anything] she wouldn't do for that [him]. She'd do just about anything for him."

Just last week, Rihanna admitted in an exclusive interview with Oprah that she still loves the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer."My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me," she said.

Rihanna also stated that she and Chris Brown are "very, very close" friends, and that she's forgiven him for his domestic assault back in 2009, but that was only able to happen after she made peace with her father, who she had an estranged relationship with.

Brown was allegedly upset that his ex-girlfriend kept talking about his assault in the media. "Chris is just confused about Rihanna's decision to bring up the past again and again -- this time in an interview with Oprah. Rihanna has previously given wide ranging interviews about the beating to Diane Sawyer and several print magazines. Chris just doesn't think it's productive or relevant to rehash the events since essentially nothing new is being revealed in the interview Rihanna has done with Oprah," a source revealed to Radar Online.

But apparently, that has not kept him from wanting to perform with her once again on stage.

When asked about a performance with the two former lovers, Brown's camp said, "Why wouldn't he? It would be the first time in a long...time that he would be on stage with his boo."
