Rihanna slammed rumors she was snorting cocaine in a viral Vine video. Reuters

Just because it looked like Rihanna was snorting cocaine during a viral Vine video doesn’t mean the singer was actually doing it. The Internet erupted after footage of the Barbadian beauty partying surfaced, but “Bad Gal Riri” vehemently denied she was guilty of the illegal activity in an Instagram comment Tuesday.

"N---a your lame ass got some f---ing nerve!!!" the 27-year-old wrote, according to Us Weekly. "Any fool could see that's a joint that I'm basing with cigarette! Who snorts tobacco??!! FOH witcho 'never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they're doing coke' lookin a--!!"

Then the singer followed up with a post -- a play on “coke.” The singer shared a picture of herself drinking from a Coca-Cola can and simply labeled it “petty.” More than 210,000 of her 17.1 million followers liked the image after it was posted to her account for less than an hour.

“If you can honestly watch the video and deny what's really going on that's the problem,” one commenter responded. “That's Aunty riri setting it straight,” another added.

The video was removed by a friend of Rihanna's shortly after it was posted, but it didn’t take long until someone copied the clip and shared it on Vine. So was she snorting cocaine or rolling a joint? Her fans have begun a Twitter debate.

Aside from wondering whether Rihanna was snorting something, fans have gushed about her purple lipstick. The star premiered the color three days ago and gave details about the unusual hue. The neon violet lip stain is called “Purple Haze” and is by the brand Free Spirits.

"Thank you @leleboo_ph--ku2 for my new fav color #purplehaze!!! Finally!!! My own BFF has a makeup and I had to wait a whole year to get some!!! #FreeSpirits," the singer captioned a photo of the impending trend. The color, created by Rihanna’s friend Leandra, already has sold out, E! News reported.
