Rob Kardashian is reportedly checking into rehab, months after it was reported that he is taking sizzurp and other drugs as he battles weight gain. Kardashian’s depression due to his weight has hit an all-time low, and the 27-year-old allegedly has been taking drugs and pills to cope.

In June, a friend told InTouch that the reality TV star is taking everything from painkillers to sizzurp, a concoction of prescription-strength cough syrup and soda. Other celebrities have also been in the headlines for drinking sizzurp, including Justin Bieber and Lil’ Wayne.

Now, an insider tells the publication that Kardashian is agreeing to check into a treatment facility. “He’s looking at Bridges to Recovery,” a Beverly Hills residential treatment center for mental health and addiction issues. “Rob says he’s ready to take the first step and he really wants to go,” the source added. “He’s never said that before, so everyone thinks it’s a good sign.”

Two months ago, a friend of Rob’s described his behavior. “He’d just lie around his place smoking weed, doing drugs, watching movies and eating,” the friend told InTouch Weekly at the time. "He said he ‘needed’ the pills." In addition to sizzurp, Rob is also allegedly taking painkillers such as Norco, Percocet and Xanax. Norco (acetaminophen and hydrocodone) is used to relieve moderate to severe pain, as is Percocet. Xanax is an anti-anxiety drug.

His mother, Kris Jenner, opened up about her son earlier around the same time, telling E!, "Rob is living in L.A. right now, and he's doing well, finding out what makes him tick and struggling with some stuff," she said, without going into details. "My job is to be there for him and to love him as hard as I can. Everybody goes through stuff."

In addition to his alleged drug use, Rob reportedly is done with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” He has retreated into anonymity and does not want to have a recurring storyline on the reality TV show.

Rob “has been holed up in his house and hasn’t been returning calls from concerned family members," a source told RadarOnline. "Rob made the decision months ago that he didn’t want to have a recurring storyline on the upcoming season of 'KUWTK' and drastically cut back on filming."

Recently, Kardashian ditched his sister Kim’s wedding in Italy and flew back home to Los Angeles. "He wanted to be there, but he was feeling so insecure and didn't want anyone to see him heavier like this," a source told E! "Kim and Kanye completely understand. They love Rob and only want him to be healthy and happy."
