Rob Kardashian is slowly getting back into working out after reportedly gaining 100 pounds in one year. The former "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, who’s been shying away from the spotlight lately, has been periodically updating fans on his workout regime.
Kardashian’s entire family has been rallying around him on his journey to lose weight. Family friend Malika Haqq recently opened up about the 28 year old's progress, telling E! News, “Rob is doing really well. He has been working out and taking care of himself.” As far as his sporadic return to social media, Malika Haqq brushed it off saying the E! star “shares what he wants to share.”
She added, “I think that’s how it should be for everyone. When you’re ready to post, post. When you’re ready to be seen, be seen. When you don’t, leave him alone. We’re really defensive about Rob.” Her twin sister Khadijah Haqq also said, “He’s like a little brother.”
A source revealed to E! that Kardashian has been working really hard to lose weight and is “committed to changing his diet habits.” The businessman has enlisted the help of a personal chef and also workouts with sister Khloé Kardashian’s trainer Gunnar Peterson. “His regiment involves more than just cardio and weights,” the source said.
For now, it seems like Rob Kardashian loves taking morning hikes. As previously reported, older sister Kim Kardashian tweeted on Aug. 25 that she went on the “hardest hike ever” with her brother.
“Rise & Grind! Workout time!!! With @robkardashian,” the pregnant reality star wrote. Rob Kardashian also shared an Instagram photo a few weeks ago of Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Tyga on their morning hike. The sock designer wrote he had run into the couple as he was doing his own morning hike.
It seems like Rob Kardashian is slowly getting more comfortable with being in the public. On Monday, he shared an Instagram selfie writing, “Gnight.” However, it’s not clear if Rob Kardashian will appear on the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which returns in November.
