Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes once again sparked rumors that they are a couple.

On his Instagram account, the “Mercy” singer shared a short video of the two of them singing Ed Sheeran’s song, “Kiss Me.” Cabello and Mendes looked very comfortable with each other in the clip. According to People, Cabello and Mendes were first linked to each other when they recorded “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” While speaking with the publication last year, Mendes denied that they are a couple.

“We’re just really close friends. She is one of those people who is just very easy to connect with and still, to this day, is one of my greatest friends. You find that instant connection with people, and she’s one of them,” he said.

He also praised her writing skills. “Even if we just wrote for other people, I would be happy to do that because she’s such a thrill to write with and work with,” he added.

Meanwhile, Cabello, who recently departed from the all-girl group Fifth Harmony, told Latina magazine that she will never talk about her love life in public. “I get why people are interested in my love life, but I don’t want to give people that piece of me because it is the most important part.

Since leaving Fifth Harmony, Cabello has been busy recording songs for her first solo album. According to Billboard, the former reality TV show contestant has been working at the studio with producers Benny Blanco and Diplo. Cabello’s first solo album is slated for release sometime in the fall.
