Harry Potter: Stars Now and Then in Pictures

Now that the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" craze is dying down (a little), Twentieth Century Fox studio is throwing their summer flick in the mix. "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" is remake of a prequel from the "Planet of the Apes" saga. This years production is starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, and our favorite villain-- Tom Felton. It didn't take long for the ex-Hogwarts students to come back out on the red carpet to promote a film that wasn't "Harry Potter."

Felton, always the bad boy, plays an evil caretaker of apes. "I'm nothing like Draco, so that's what makes the role great fun," Felton said about how he relates to his character on "Harry Potter." "Also, villains are usually so well-written, they're such strong, defined characters even if they're completely mental and off the hooks." His next film role will be out next year in the thriller--"The Apparition" where he plays...a nerdy guy. "He's not a lovely guy, but he's certainly not a villain. He's obsessed with the paranormal and tries to instigate these strange scientific experiments to see what he can find out. He's kind of a geek. I get to wear these great glasses and messed-up hair. It was nice to step out of the evil realm for a second."

Rupert Grint, his co-star in the "Harry Potter" series stepped out to show his buddy some love as indicated on his shirt...
