The rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo seems to be popping up everywhere lately, and recently a source tipped off SamMobile that the device will soon be available for pre-order with a retailer in Belgium. According to the source, the pre-order page is not yet available for public viewing, but Galaxy Note 3 Neo may be priced at €599 in Belgium, which equates to $813.08.
Once referred to as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite, the Neo is expected to be a low-cost, high-end variant of the Galaxy Note 3. Not long ago, documents comparing the device to the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3 surfaced, indicating that it might feature a Samsung Exynos hexa-core (six) processor in addition to features, which would essentially make Note 3 Neo a Note 2 hardware and Note 3 software hybrid.
Since then, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo has surfaced in several different leaks, including once, which posed a small device with a Galaxy Note 3 design next to an authentic Galaxy Note 3. Various spec leaks notably indicate that the Note 3 Neo may feature a 5.55-inch 720p Super AMOLED display. Other proposed specs include an 8-megapixel camera, 2GB mobile RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD, a 3,100 mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and Galaxy Note 3 S-Pen features. Supposed Antutu Benchmarks indicate that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo processor has power comparable with the Samsung Exynos 5410 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipsets.
Other Galaxy Note 3 Neo sightings include a listing for the device at a Dutch retail website. The model number SM-N7505 has long been associated with the Note 3 Neo, even when it was being called the Galaxy Note 3 Lite. The Feb. 3 availability date on the website could indicate that the page is simply a place holder. A device bearing the same model also recently passed through FCC inspection; devices are known to gain various government certifications when a release is near.
Many expect that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be unveiled at the World Mobile Congress in February.
