Samsung on Tuesday introduced a new line of its SL-series camera with high end display features.

Its new digital SL720 and SL502 cameras features 12.5 megapixel sensor of up to 5 optical zoom lenses. It also has dual optical stabilization in its SL720 and has 2.7 inch and 3 inch LCD display respectively.

“These are the most full-featured compact digital cameras on the market,” said Reid Sullivan, senior vice president of audio, video and digital imaging marketing, Samsung Electronics America. Its more robust, feature-packed cameras which will help take their photography to a whole new level.

Its SL720 also has 720 resolutions with HD video recording capabilities while the SL502 has 640x480 resolutions and is limited to VGA video capture in MJPEG format, with face recognition technology including Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Detection and Samsung’s Beauty Shot.

The Samsung SL720 and SL502 will be available in August at $299.99 and $149.99 respectively.
