“Scandal” Season 7, episode 4 will see Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) telling Fitz Grant (Tony Goldwyn) that he can’t have her. However, it’s not in the context that Olitz shippers would expect.

In the sneak peek released by ABC for “Lost Girls,” Fitz asks Olivia to help them free a group of young girls whose voices couldn’t be heard because of the color of their skin. Olivia refuses to help Fitz since she is no longer working as the head of Olivia Pope and Associates (OPA).

Fitz insists that Olivia is best for the job and tries to convinces her to help out. Olivia shuts it down by telling him that he should just consult with Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes), the head of Quinn Perkins and Associates (QPA). The two characters’ heated exchange ends with Fitz telling Olivia that he wants her to be the one to help him out.

The lead character cryptically responds, “You can’t have me.” This statement seems to have a double meaning since it’s clear that Fitz still has feelings for Olivia. The two have also been linked several times before and during Fitz’s presidency.

Now that Fitz is no longer president, there are speculations suggesting that Fitz and Olivia could get back together and live happily ever after. But as of late, Olivia doesn’t seem to be on board. In fact, she’s also been hooking up with Jake Ballard (Scott Foley).

Elsewhere in episode 4, QPA will be working with an unexpected client, and by the looks of it, this could be Fitz. Since Olivia doesn’t really want to help him, Fitz will be left with no other choice but to reach out to the other team.

Meanwhile, President Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) will also be gearing up for the upcoming Nuclear Summit with President Rashad (Faran Tahir) and Prime Minister Nazari (Amir M. Korangy). Since Olivia works a Mellie’s chief of staff, she will be preoccupied before and during the event.

“Scandal” Season 7, episode 4 will air on Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
