As a massive fire engulfed the boardwalk of the Jersey Shore town of Seaside Park on Thursday, the cast of “Jersey Shore,” who called neighboring Seaside Heights home for four summers on the highly successful MTV reality show, tweeted about their heartbreak over the devastation. Except Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who, unlike his castmates, was nowhere to be found on social media to express his thoughts on the tragedy.

The blaze, which was being battled by about 400 firefighters, was extinguished Thursday night. About a quarter of that force was still around Friday to ensure that the fire would not pick up again, the New York Post reported.

In less than a year since Hurricane Sandy ravaged the area, disaster struck again in the form of the fire, decimating a custard stand and damaging the amusement pier in Seaside Park. Among the businesses damaged in the blaze was the Beachcomber Bar & Grill, a popular spot with the “Jersey Shore” cast. You can see a full list of impacted business, compiled by the Newark Star-Ledger, here.

The Situation’s posted to his Twitter account around 12 p.m. Thursday, close to the time that the fire erupted. But instead of sharing his thoughts on the destruction, he plugged Reset Reality, an initiative Sorrentino is involved in that helps combat prescription painkiller addiction. The Situation had been in rehab to battle the addiction, which came up numerous times in “Jersey Shore’s” final season.

Sorrentino hasn’t tweeted since then and is the only “Jersey Shore” cast member not to go on Twitter and offer encouraging words to the community that helped the cast launch their fame.

Here are the tweets from “Jersey Shore” cast members Ronnie Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola, Jennifer “Jwoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Cortest, and Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio:

Even Angelina Pivarnick, who only appeared in one season of “Jersey Shore” because of friction with the other roommates, tweeted about the fire:
