Selena Gomez, Alexander DeLeon Dating Rumors: ‘Nothing Romantic’ Between The Good Friends, Report Says

Selena Gomez and Alexander DeLeon sparked dating rumors after the two were spotted partying together at Hotel Chantelle in New York City on Monday night, but according to a report there is “nothing romantic” between them. Previously, Gomez and DeLeon were seen together in December during the former’s Dubai trip with Kendall Jenner.

“They definitely have no sexual chemistry with each other but they are certainly not repulsed by each other. Alex likes hanging out with beautiful people,” a source told Hollywood Life, adding that DeLeon is still dating Danish model Josephine Skriver, and “things are still going well with her.”

Gomez and DeLeon, frontman for rock band The Cab, have reportedly known each other for years, and the 22-year-old “Good for you” singer has recently been “great friends” with DeLeon, Hollywood Life reported.

Gomez, who is currently single after several rough relationships, has reportedly expressed her wish to date again, saying that she has asked close friends -- Olivia Wilde and Paul Rudd -- to set her up.

“I just spent the weekend in Kansas with Paul Rudd, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis and Johnny Knoxville,” Selena reportedly said on The Morning Mash Up, a show on SiriusXM's Hits 1 program, on Monday. “I was like, ‘Guys, lets talk about some dates!’ That’s kind of my approach. When I meet cool people like them, I want what they have.”

Earlier this month, reports had speculated that Gomez may have rekindled a romance with former boyfriend Justin Bieber, with whom she had split after he supposedly cheated on her. However, the two have not spoken out about the rumors.
