Selena Gomez might have attracted a new fan base after making a hilarious joke while appearing on CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman."

The 20-year-old “Spring Break” star further opened up about being separated from Bieber.

"Last time you were here, you were with a Justin Bieber," Letterman said. "That's not going on now."

"No, I'm single," Gomez said. "I'm so good."

Once Letterman realized the coast was clear, he took a jab at the singer and actress:

"Now, the last time he was on, he and I got into a conversation and he said something and I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry."

"Well then, that makes two of us," Gomez, with a huge grin on her face, joked.

The audience instantly began to roar with laughter over the joke, and it seemed to catch Letterman by surprise. He even offered her a wizened fist pump at the joke.

It’s only a matter of time before Bieber fans, best known as Beliebers, begin to bash the young starlet, but for now Twitter has been bombarded with posts praising Gomez for slamming her ex.

@sweetiedee1411 wrote, “@selenagomez your interview with David Letterman, priceless!! #thatmakestwoofus” and @SteadyOnYaGrind shared, “I like how Selena Gomez came for Justin Bieber with that shade on Letterman. I applaud you, girl. ;)”

The stars ended their public relationship after he was accused of cheating. Since their split, the “Baby” singer has been getting a ton of negative press during his world tour in London, being called a “brat” for showing up late to concerts and lashing out at British paparazzi. He was even kicked out of a London club on his birthday, and tweeted that it was the “worst” birthday ever.
