Pop star Selena Gomez is the ultimate style diva who loves to dress up in designer clothes and is also seen in some of the most fantastic hairdos. But the gorgeous singer-actress was not born stylish.

While talking to ET Online, the “Good For You” singer discussed her hair styling mistakes and also revealed the name of her new single. "My biggest hair mistake is when I was younger and I was figuring out how to use a flat-iron," Gomez told ET. "I used to think that just because visually I could see that this hair was straight that the back didn't necessarily have to be straight.”

The former Disney star continued committing the same mistake until her sixth grade. “That wasn't really my proudest moment," she added. But the brand ambassador for Pantene has simple tastes in accessories as she loves hair scrunchies.

“I know it's kind of old school, but it's really cute when you put your hair up and you let a few pieces come down," Gomez said. She also called “dry hair shampoo” one of the most “awesome” things she has discovered. The pop starlet has starred in the latest commercial for Pantene and can be seen playing with her hair in it.

Gomez, high on the success of her last single, “Good For You,” has already announced the name of her next song from her coming album, “Revival.” According to Billboard, Gomez's new single is "Same Old Love." The singer announced the name last week at the iHeartMedia Music Summit in Burbank, California, said the website.

There is speculation that “Same Old You” refers to her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber. The new song is co-written by pop singer Charli XCX, the Australasian Performing Rights Association website writes.
