Hurry! Get out of the water and to a TV set because Discovery Channel is about to return with its 2016 season of Shark Week. And according to the summaries of the upcoming episodes, it looks like the 29th installment of the beloved weeklong summer series will be drenched with bloody good drama, epic bites and jaw-dropping moments.

Fans can sink their teeth into the fishy features starting Sunday, June 26 — the earliest Shark Week has ever breached our small screens. The 2016 installment will showcase several shark-tastic episodes, from the search of the world’s largest great white to the study of why the toothy creatures are snacking on seals … straight off the shore!

In addition to the gripping storylines, Shark Week will educate its viewers about the elegant oceanic animals. The 2016 installment will show audiences how sharks and people can peacefully coexist, in addition to divulging surprising information about the gilled animals that glide underneath the ocean’s surface.
