Sharknado 2
"Sharknado 2: The Second One" will be swimming onto small and big screens soon. Find out how to see the SyFy movie in theaters below. SyFy

Clear your schedule and get your Twitter ready: “Sharknado 2: The Second One” is swimming to screens everywhere. After exploding on social media last summer, SyFy is going for round two with the campy thriller about shark tornadoes. The network is apparently planning on the movie being pretty successful since they are releasing the film in theaters after the television premiere. Viewers can watch "Sharknado 2: The Second One" on July 30 on SyFy channel.

On August 21, fans can watch the movie again on the big screen. Fathom Events and The Asylum will be holding a special 8:00 p.m. (local time) screening for fans across the country. The event will be in 48 states (sorry Utah and South Dakota) and will include a behind-the-scenes look at how the movie was made. Fathom Events is advertising “never-before-seen footage, hilarious bloopers and more!” for the one-night-only event.

A similar event was held for the first “Sharknado.” Regal Cinemas held midnight showings for the SyFy original movie in August 2013, just three weeks after its July premiere in 2013. There will also be a three week time gap between the TV premiere and movie theater event for “Sharknado 2: The Second One.”

To find your theater and buy tickets, check out Fathom Events website.

Even if viewers stay at home, SyFy is still encouraging a full-on party. Their website has plenty of drinking games and food with names like “Life Preserver Donuts” and “Blood In The Water Cupcakes.” Check out their party kit here.

"Sharknado 2: The Second One" premieres on SyFy on July 30 at 9 p.m. EDT. Will you go to theatres to watch? Take the poll below!
