Shaun White, the professional snowboarder, skateboarder and Olympian, was arrested for public intoxication and vandalism after he started a ruckus at a hotel in Nashville over the weekend, TMZ first reported.

The Olympian reportedly pulled a fire alarm while he was staying at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in the early morning hours on Sunday morning, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

USA Today quoted a hotel employee who called authorities "regarding an intoxicated man, reportedly White, who allegedly pulled a fire alarm at the hotel, which caused the evacuation of all guests."

The two-time Olympic gold medalist allegedly fell, where he hit his head as he was attempting to abscond from the hotel, police said.

WTVF-TV reported that he sustained minor injuries after trying to flee from the hotel and was treated at Baptist Hospital.

The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department released his mug shot where White looks like he has a bruise under his left eye, probably from the struggle to try and get away from the hotel.

TMZ goes into detail about the incident, stating that the Olympian was extremely intoxicated when he pulled the fire alarm.

According to a hotel employee who spoke to police, White smashed a hotel phone.

Cops said a 26-year-old witness tried to stop White from getting into a taxi and leaving the scene, but that White kicked him and continue to run on foot, pursued by the other, which was when White collided with a fence.

White "reeked" of alcohol, according to cops who spoke to TMZ.

The other person is not pursuing assault charges, the celebrity gossip site noted.
