LONDON - A few thousand employees at Royal Dutch Shell Plc have been asked to reapply for their jobs as part of restructuring plans, Chief Executive Peter Voser said on Tuesday, declining to say how many jobs might go.

Voser also said the company was moving ahead with a review of its refineries business.

The divestment .. climate at this stage is a challenging one but obviously we are progressing in the reviews, he told journalists on the sidelines of an event in London.
