MTV is milking the popularity of its hit reality television show Jersey Shore. The network has greenlighted two spinoffs, which will begin production later in the year.

One of the shows will feature Nicole Snookie Polizzi and Jenni Jwoww Farley as they live together away from the shore and deal with life and love when the vacation is over.

The other show will focus on Pal DJ Pauly D Delvecchio. It will document his exploits around the world as he tries to become an international DJ.

I used to be this DJ in Rhode Island, DJing two sets a week, hustling, promoting and all of a sudden, I'm on this show, and now they're sending private jets for me to DJ for these huge crowds, yet I'm still the same guy that was DJing for 200 people, just loving life, Pauly D said.

Chris Linn, the executive VP of programming/head of production at MTV, said We're excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us,

Both reality television shows have been slated to start with 12 episodes.

According to The Daily Beast, Jersey Shore is MTV's No. 1 series of all time.
