Raise a glass — “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner is officially 21. The actress, who has been delighting fans as Sansa Stark for more than four years on the HBO series and will continue to do so through 2018, celebrated her birthday on Tuesday.

While it’s hard to believe Turner has only been on many people’s radar for a few short years, there’s no denying her star power. “Game of Thrones” may be coming to an end, but Turner’s career is only just beginning.

Here are 21 reasons we love the actress:

She’s Hilarious

Turner may play a serious character on screen, but behind the scenes she’s a lovable goofball. She’s been known to joke with BFF — and “Game of Thrones” sister — Maisie Williams on Twitter and fans have grown to love her for it.

She’s Also Got A Killer Sense Of Humor

In addition to making laughs of her own, Turner often retweets meme accounts and brings a smile to her followers faces.

She’s Not Afraid To Speak Her Mind

The British actress has been outspoken in her distaste for U.S. President Donald Trump, burning him on Twitter. Turner has also publicly shamed “Game of Thrones” co-star Kit Harrington for staring at himself for long periods of time before public appearances, telling GQ he will “standing in front of the mirror for hours.”

She’s Just Like Us

Turner has outed herself as a total fan girl on more than one occasion. During the SAG Awards in 2016, she snapped a photo of herself looking shocked with Ryan Gosling — AKA everyone’s dream guy — in the background, has totally marveled over Natalie Dormer (who starred on “Game of Thrones” until Season 6) and nearly lost it when she met Steve Carell.

No, Seriously — She Loves Everything We Do

Including One Direction and “Mean Girls.”

She Owns Her Strength As A Woman

Each and every character Turner has played has been a strong female. Sansa, for example, was dealt one of the worst hands of any of the characters on “Game of Thrones” and yet six seasons later, she’s still alive and has managed to take back her family’s kingdom. Outside of the HBO series she has accepted a part in “X-Men: Apocalypse,” and while she told InStyle it’s “going to be the worst ‘X-Men’ so far, because I’m in it,” we have our doubts.

She Runs In Awesome Crowds

Turner has surrounded herself with an all-star group of friends. She and Maisie Williams, who happens to play Sansa’s little sister Arya Stark on “Game of Thrones,” are so close they have matching tattoos. Turner’s also close with Jennifer Lawrence.

She Embraces “Ships”

Fans have taken to calling her and Maisie Williams “Mophie,” which she and her TV sister embrace fully.

She’s Got Crazy Parents Just Like Us

Turner may be an adult, but she’ll always be her parents’ little girl. She still occasionally returns home to the village she’s from and when she does, her mom and dad call the shots — right down to when the wifi is turned on in the house.

She’s Down To Earth

The “Game of Thrones” star may be making a ton of money for shooting the HBO series, Turner hasn’t let her fame get the better of her. In fact, she often makes fun of Hollywood stereotypes and still enjoys the simple pleasures in life.

She’s Outspoken In Supporting Social Justice Campaigns

Turner’s not just a good guy — or should we say gal — on TV. The actress regularly tweets messages of support for Black Lives Matter and other such movements and is a loud and proud feminist.

She Connects With Her Fans

Turner often answers fans on Twitter, retweets their fan art creations and participates in Q&A sessions, which we love.

She Doesn’t Care What You Think

Turner has no time for haters.

Her Fashion Sense Is Unrivaled

The “Game of Thrones” star is always best dressed, no matter where she’s going.

She’s As Much Of A “Game Of Thrones” Fan As We Are

Even she couldn’t wait to learn whether Jon Snow (Harington) was really dead or not.

She Had The Same Love/Hate Relationship With Spoilers We All Do

Like Williams, Turner has been staunchly against “Game of Thrones” spoilers. She often offers up sneaky bits of information, but never has and never would condone the leaking of information. In fact, back in Season 5 she joked that “#revengeiscoming” for whomever leaked information about the season to the public.

She’s Not Afraid To Laugh At Herself

Even in her best gown, Turner isn’t afraid to laugh at the funny faces she — and the rest of the world — sometimes makes in front of the camera.

She’s The Female Icon We All Need

Turner won’t stand for body shaming or unattainable beauty standards.

She Owns The Good And The Bad In Her Characters

Sansa may be a fan favorite among “Game of Thrones” watchers, but that doesn’t mean she’s all good. In fact, Turner has openly told Screenrant that fans should expect a “power trip” in Season 7.

She’s Unabashedly Herself

Most importantly, Turner is and always has been unafraid to be herself — quirks and all.
