S&P 500 falls 1 percent after ECB caution
Stocks fell on Thursday, with the S&P 500 down 1 percent, after cautious remarks from European Central Bank President Mario Draghi about more bond purchases to ease the region's debt crisis.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 70.31 points, or 0.58 percent, at 12,126.06. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> dropped 10.82 points, or 0.86 percent, at 1,250.19. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was off 17.48 points, or 0.66 percent, at 2,631.73.
