S&P 500 stock index futures turned negative while Nasdaq futures pared gains after data showed retail sales and producer prices came in worse than expected in March.

S&P 500 futures fell 4.50 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures fell 16 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures added 1 point.
