A mother in Texas has claimed that her child with special-needs was pressurized to perform sexual acts on a school bus, and has sued the Texas school district.

According to the mother, this incident took place in the fall of 2018, when her child was on his way home from Franz Elementary, a part of Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD). The perpetrator, a 5th grader, had forced her son to perform oral sex on the school bus.

At the time of the incident, the child was mere 8-years-old and was diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dysgraphia, and dyslexia, among other disabilities. The mother also added that all the parents must know that such an incident took place at school.

"My son said he asked him every day on the bus and during school and he finally got to the point where he said, 'Well if I do it, will you stop asking me?' My son said he just wanted it to stop," the mother told ABC13.

Further, due to the sexual nature of the incident, the ABC13 news station is refraining from identifying the mother and her son. She also added that this horrifying incident had occurred twice inside the school bus, a place she thought was safe and secure for children.

Later on, when the mother wanted information regarding the incidents, all she got was silence in return. Last week, the mother filed a lawsuit against Katy ISD, claiming that the school did nothing to prevent violations of Title IX-sex-based discrimination- American with Disabilities Act and civil rights.

"There was nowhere else for me to go," she told ABC13.

The boy no longer attends Franz Elementary. He has regressed and is in therapy, the mother said.

"I cannot imagine going to school every day knowing that a little boy, 2 to 3 years older than me, is going to ask me to do that every single day and no one is going to protect me," said the mother's attorney, Holly Terrell.

The school district declined to comment on the matter due to the pending litigation.
