One of 2017’s most anticipated movies, Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” has finally wrapped up shooting the reboot about the web-slinging superhero. Set in high school, Tom Holland will play science nerd Peter Parker. Holland shared an Instagram photo announcing that filming has been completed.

Holland snapped a picture of the cast and crew catching some much needed shut eye on the last day of shooting. “Our last day on @spidermanhomecoming and this is how we are feeling but we got this hahah,” he captioned the picture.

Production of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” began in Atlanta and recently relocated to Queens, New York City. Holland shared a photo on Instagram that shows him leaving Atlanta one week ago. The Peter Parker portrayer captioned it, “See you soon Atlanta. It’s been real #spidermanhomecoming.”

The next day, Holland posted another photo of him in Queens wearing the Spiderman costume. “First night in Queens and it feels like home already,” he said. Fans of Spidey already know that his hometown is in Queens, New York. Hence, it was essential that the cast and crew shot some outdoor scenes in Parker’s hometown.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” has a large cast. Apart from Holland’s role as Parker, Robert Downey, Jr. will reprise his role as billionaire Tony Stark/Iron Man and Marisa Tomei is back as Aunt May. The Marvel movie will see Parker face-off against Vulture, played by Michael Keaton. Zendaya Coleman plays Parker’s love interest in high school, Mary Jane Watson.

Tony Revolori also stars in the reboot as Flash Thompson. Other actors appearing in the movie include Michael Mando, Martin Starr, Donald Glover and Hannibal Buress.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” hits theatres on July 7, 2017.
