On Saturday in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, thousands of Michael Jackson gathered to celebrate what would have been the King of Pop's 51st birthday.

The concert was hosted by director Spike Lee.

According to The Associated Press the day was also designated Michael King of Pop Jackson Memorial Day by Brooklyn borough president.
