Stock index futures trimmed losses on Thursday after jobless claims and housing data.

A day after the S&P 500 fell 1.74 percent, S&P 500 futures dropped 3.2 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration of the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures fell 61 points and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 9 points.
