Stock index futures slightly trimmed declines on Tuesday after data showed prices of single-family homes gained more than expected in June.

S&P 500 futures were down 1.9 points and below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures fell 15 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 9.25 points.
